You pick the entire playoff bracket in advance of the playoffs. You can make adjustments to your picks up until the playoffs begin. Just prior to kickoff of wildcard weekend, your picks lock in and your bracket is scored weekly as the playoffs progress. After the Superbowl, the most accurate bracket in the pool takes the prize!

Each correct pick is worth ONE (1) point. However, if your bracket reflects the correct pick and the correct matchup, you earn the amount of points listed below:

This year's entry fee is $10. This can be paid through PayPal after you have signed up and made your picks. ALL entry fees must be received by Saturday, January 13 at 4:30pm EST.

About the pool: Joe's Playoff Pool has been running since 2004. It is lightly advertised over social media and by word of mouth. Feel free to refer friends to the pool. Historically the pool averages roughly 80-100 entries. There is a chance I would consider capping the number of participants if entries well exceed that. There is a strict 1 ENTRY PER PERSON policy. I reserve the right to limit number of entries in a household. A PDF file of all brackets is shared with every participant via email just before kickoff of Wilcard weekend to guarantee integrity. No personal information is ever collected or sold. There is no profit made from entry fees, it is a casual pool. The winner will be contacted by phone and/or e-mail after the Superbowl, and will be posted on this website.
